Overview

Located within the serene confines of Hyatt Regency Yogyakarta, Angkringan at Hyatt offers a refined take on the beloved Indonesian street food tradition. This unique angkringan stands out not only for its signature menu but also for its exceptional setting facing the lush golf course and tranquil greens, creating a harmonious blend of nature and culture.

The culinary experience here is anchored by standout dishes like Nasi Goreng Kecombrang, where aromatic indigenous flowers elevate the classic fried rice, and the Sate Tuna alongside Sate Telur Puyuh, which bring fresh coastal flavors and rich textures uncommon in typical angkringan offerings. Complementing these are traditional beverages such as Wedang Ronde and refreshing Es Jeruk Nipis, which perfectly balance warmth and zest in every sip.

Angkringan at Hyatt transcends the usual experience by integrating a cozy, open-air atmosphere that draws both locals and visitors alike. Patrons often commend how the space transforms into a serene retreat during clear evenings, providing an ideal backdrop for casual meetings or relaxed gatherings. As highlighted by reviews, this spot is perfect for those seeking a non-formal, yet polished environment where traditional Javanese flavors meet contemporary comfort.

The target audience here ranges from business professionals looking for a subtle yet engaging venue, to food enthusiasts eager to explore elevated street eats, and travelers wanting to immerse themselves in the local culture without leaving the comforts of a high-class hotel environment. The seamless integration of traditional angkringan fare with the upscale ambiance of Hyatt Regency exemplifies culinary innovation in Yogyakarta's vibrant dining scene.

In summary, Angkringan at Hyatt is more than just a restaurant—it’s a cultural experience. The thoughtful curation of Indonesian classics, stunning golf course views, and inviting atmosphere make it a must-visit location for anyone who wants to enjoy authentic tastes in an elevated setting.

The coziest place in Jogja to enjoy the sunset. The view is amazing and directly facing the golf course area...

Angkringan Hyatt is such a representative "angkringan" to take your colleagues to have some non-formal meeting but still in a professional situation. Since the location of this angkringan is inside the Hyatt Hotel area, so you can also enjoy the ambience of the hotel, or grab a wheel to drive around the greens. And the menu is another special thing, because beside the common menu of the ordinary angkringan, they have some "signature" angkringan menu that you wont find in other angkringan in this whole Jogja, such as Tuna Satay and Wedang Dewi Arum

I think this is a nice angkringan option if you want to have a high class atmosphere. And suprisingly the price is not that expensive. so yeah, a decent alternative for angkringan in Yogyakarta.

Love the ambience, looking over one of golf tee box, with angkringan menu for light evening dinner or javanese fried noodle or rice or mie godhog my favorite. All kind of traditional javanese hot drinks. Recommended

It’s my second time coming here. The Segara Kidul Seafood BBQ buffet is available every Friday from 4pm to 10pm for IDR 158,001 per pax (IDR 130,579 + service charge of IDR 13,058 + tax of IDR 14,364). This excludes drinks and dessert. There’s also live music at 8pm every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Mas Edwin (pictured in one of my photos) was very jovial although the heat from the grill is unforgiving. Most of the grilled seafood has sambal, but you can request for a non-spicy option and he will grill a non-spicy batch of seafood for you.

We ordered nasi goreng kecombrang, bakmi godog and bakmi goreng. And they were all good! We add one more portion for bakmi Godog. My son loved the bakwan jagung and nasi uduk. I don't recommend the wedang ronde, because the bread cube was too much and very soggy, so it absorbed the wedang itself and the peanut was not crunchy. But if you want to find a delicious and authentic bakmi Jogja, this the worthy place to come. The price is affordable and quickly served.

Nice and relaxing atmosphere, not so expensive snacks like gorengan and satay. If you want to save more do not order drink (coffee) from the cafe instead go to the angkringan stand and order from there.
